Soirée.
What a lovely word, and kind of sounds like what it does.
Ever open a bottle, and let the wine sit and air out?
Ever open a bottle and wish that the wine would air faster, as you’d love to take a sip. With a wine decanter, it may be possible.
Well, Soirée can help.
This is actually pretty gadgety for the wine lover. If you love the flavor of wine that’s been exposed to air, getting the full flavor of the experience, you’ll want to use this device.
Once attached to the bottle, you can tip it, pour it out and it’ll swirl into the ‘bubble’. This, I’m assuming, lets the wine be more exposed to air, spreading it out a bit to expose the particles to oxygen. Then it gets pours into your wine glass.
I shared this with a friend of mine, who happened to have a couple of bottles of wine to try it out on. His comments were the gadget was interesting and would be a great gift for the true wine connoisseur.
The only addition I would love to see with this gift would be a holder. As it is made of glass, I’d love to see it come with a stand or container of some kind, for when it isn’t in a bottle.
I’d like to say thank you to Soirée for sending it along. It’s actually a very elegant gift. And for the price, around $20, it’d make a nice gift even for someone who just likes wine on occasion. The price is reasonable and the device is very easy to use. I am wanting to take a sample of this down the street to our own recently opened wine shop to see if they’d want to look at it.
So, favorite wine selections anyone?
