Ten Things I Use My Dry Erase Board for:
1. Grocery list
2. To do list
3. Important appointments
4. Phone numbers I get from people who call me (Beats pen and paper.)
5. Entertaining little ones with drawing silly cartoons.
6. My son liked to do some math problems on the board. (Pretending to be the teacher.)
7. Doing my own math problems. (What’s with dry erase boards and math?)
8. File folder ( I stick sheets of paper in the wedge between the white board and the wood frame.)
9. Erasing things off my to do list. (Feels so good!)
10. Drawing for my own entertainment.
Have a white board? Or be like me and use the fridge or stove. I find the stove to be easier. In any case, you would probably need a dry erase marker.
That was an old video. One thing you discover about dry erase markers is that the dry erase part doesn’t exactly mean washable. Getting Expo markers on your hands or clothes used to mean it was pretty stained.
But now there’s new Expo Washable Markers. Yay!
So check this out:
They sent me a couple of packs. So one of you all get to test these out for me, too! I’ve tried marking up some cloth:
I am the family artist, can’t you tell?
Ok, not really.
But the cloth came out pretty clean in the wash. (I had a picture of an after… don’t know where it went.) I did nothing special with it. I just threw it into the wash after drawing on it. I may try again later and let it dry a little bit first, to see if it will come out after a couple of hours of sitting on the cloth.
Thanks, Expo! They sent us the markers. They work great. The colors are pretty bright. Oh I wonder if they work on a black… white board? I’ll have to find one.
By the way, go to their website for a $1.00 coupon for Expo Washable Markers. Plus, if you post a message in this blog post, in five days you could have a free pack of the markers. Because I may send it to you!
So comment. Tell me what you put on your dry erase board (or stove top).
