Highlights of the festival.

The Cajun
This guy clued me in on all the things to do at Festival, what there was, what things meant.
Foods tried: Boudin, Shrimp Poboy, Jambalaya. I think there might have been more but I forget by now.

Scene International At Festival
This was one of six stages that were set up all around downtown Lafayette. Here’s another one.

Fais Do Do
There was a mini Mardi Gras Parade (video coming soon in another post), an Indian storyteller that was interesting, French puppets…

French Puppets
The following picture is just for Anthony Bourdain worthy-ness of any place I go.

Meat
And the following is for pure amusement, a rickshaw(n).

Very sorry for the poor quality of the photos, I only had my cell phone. I’ll look into getting a better camera sometime.
So that was my weekend. Festival International at Lafayette, LA in 2009. It was fun, had a good time. I think the Cajun had too good of a time.
Maybe we’ll be at the festival next year.

Man your phone cam is craptacular–we need to find my slighty less craptacular camera. What was I doing when you took that?
